Henrys Mt. success

My dad sealed the deal Friday evening.

What a fun hunt. It felt good to end up with such a great buck after a lot of time and effort spent on a very rugged mountain. We had many great people help us with their knowledge and it made all of the difference on our hunt.

The buck taped exactly 30" wide. We didn't get time to score him before dropping him at the taxidermist so everybody needs to tell me what they think he will score.

We think (hope!) he is very close to 190.

Just for comparision here is BOHNTR'S buck that grossed 197"

So yea I think your going to hit 190 myself or darn close.

Congrats on an excellent buck. I'm heading over in 2 weeks to scout for my buddies rifle hunt I can't wait, and those pictures just made 2 weeks seem even longer congrats again.

This deer has been measured at 206 5/8 gross with a final net at about 198.

He turned out far better than we had hoped.

I guess I can forget about topping th old man on this one.

I think he'll gross mid 190's maybe a little better, but he's going to net about 8" lower. Little bit of unevenness. Probably should have passed and looked for a better one. NOT! LOL He's awsome.

That is a awesome buck i dont know if i have ever seen a more pretty typical. Congrats. How many points did you have to draw the tag? I had eight to draw the paunsaugunt this year. Just curious what my odds would have been on the henrys with eight points?

3.8% with 9 bonus points which is what my dad had when he drew.
