Highway bucks

I was driving down the road the other day and out of the corner of my eye I see something that looks like antlers under a lone tree out in the lowlands. After pulling out my spotter, this is what I saw. A whole herd of bucks and some good ones too.

Does your wife get as mad as mine when your driving down the road and looking for deer? Parleys is the worst, I can't drive that canyon without searching for the big one.

Idhunter, ya the other day we were driving by a marsh and I commented that I thought it would be a great place for ducks to hang out and she commented.... DO YOU ALWAYS HAVE TO THINK ABOUT KILLING THINGS! I never said anything about killing, geez. Ok, maybe a quick thought came to mind. :-$

Good eye.

When we go to my parents house we go up parleys and then up daniels and then accross the strawberry valley. Needless to say that drive sometimes takes longer than it should. Daniels is the worst for me, there are always elk on that darned hillside. Of course the wife always says they are just bushes, and there are no elk there (just because she cant see them). Has anyone else ever witnessed a herd of bushes work their way down a ridge? I see a lot of them, strangely they are all when I'm with the wife. (???)

I drive that canyon all the time and see elk in there almost every time. So I'm sure that it's not you that is seeing things.

My Wife is a great one to go looking for deer with. She drives. She has hit a couple deer with the car. Anything that even resembles a deer, she hits the brakes slows to a crawl =D> =D> And it doesn't have to be close to the road. She says "where there's one there might be a dozen" :thumb

LOL...Wayne, my wife's the same way. She was darned near killed about 7 years ago when she hit a deer while driving about 55 mph in a little two door Cavalier. Now she'll slow to a crawl every time we see one..and it can be 300 yards off the road too.
