Hey Ridgetop that is awesome. You deserve it. I've always found your posts to be helpful and found you to be a stand up guy for all the tips and help you give others. Hopefully you be rewarded with some good info back your way. What unit species will you be hunting?

maybe we could have a "sticky" post in the sheep section called " ridgetops sheep hunt"?

didn't you draw an awsome elk tag last year? what the heck are you doing right , that i'm doing wrong? lol

Sorry guys. I was in a big hurry this morning. Looks like I'll be hunting California Bighorns right in my backyard on the Stansburys. I think I'll try for one with my muzzleloader.

Way to go Ridge. Now you will have to change your tag at the bottom of your posts. For this year it will have to say there is always this year and this is the year.

Your one lucky dog, although my nephew was able to draw a sheep tag on his first time a couple years ago in Oregon, and he got a dandy. Hope you do as well as he did.

Thanks guys for the kind words. The only bad thing about this hunt is now I've decided to skip the elk and turkey hunts to help pay for this one but the great thing is that I will be forced to get into better shape. I'm hoping to loose about 20 pounds. I've already started doing the homework of talking to the Fish and Game and other hunters in the area.
