Home for Good!

Well everyone I've been away for a while. I got everything taken care of with the Marine Corps and have moved back to Utah for good! What a great feeling.... 8 years 4 month and 13 days of Active duty and I am done! Anywho I hope I will be able to contribute more now that I am back out west.

right on sneekee, but dont be suprised if it will be less- you'll want to spend those extra hours with the family.
no matter what- thank you for your time served for me, and the other members- and i sure hope you stick around.

Welcome home. What are you going to do for a living?

You may want to think about becoming a Reservist (Marine or Army) because it provides that little extra paycheck that often comes in handy, and you can make a nice little retirement pension, that are so hard to come by now a days, for your self and your survivor.

Also, with your active duty experience you can go straight to the top, making a really nice extra pension. Not telling you what to do. Just MHO.

Sneekeepete, welcome home and thank you for your service. I never realized the sacrifices made by those serving our country and their families... I mean, I knew our military personnel gave a lot... but three years ago my wife & I bought a home near Hill Air Force Base and many of our neighbors have been deployed recently (one of my better friends in the neighborhood returns home Friday from Korea). It has been VERY eye opening. You and your family have my upmost respect.
