How big

*Whistles* Hey guys, that's BIG if I'm not mistaken. I always hear hunters on the TV talking about their 30 inchers and stuff. They're really big.

Are you just asking is it a trophy? If so HELL YA. Unless it is a spike-fork with tooth pick antlers, it should be a nice one. Do you have a pic of the buck? And how many points did it have.

Ya it is a 4 piont with deep forks we did not mount it but we boild the scool i will try to get a picture of this thanks for the info.

Nice reply, I like that one. My guess is a 31.25" buck is always going to be somewhat of trophy status. However, about eight years ago I did shoot a 30.5" buck and I had no idea that is was only a 2 point until I walked up on him, talk about ground shrinkage. I had been hunting with my pops for seven days and when I saw 30 inches I shot and asked the questions later. To my surprise he was only a forky. but he makes for a cool looking deer, how many people can say they literally shot a 30" 2-pt.

He won't score too well but what the heck, right!!!!!!!! For those that would like to doubt me, there is a picture of him in the photos section somewhere, I posted them last year so it is in the middle of the pack. But my name is scott holden and you can check him out if you want.

I believe you. Saw a forkhorn just like what you described a couple of years ago shot by a buddy of mine. Not only was it tall and wide but had pretty impressive mass. We judged the deer to be about 3 1/2 years old and couldn't figure out why it was only a two pointer other than genetics. He ended up mounting it for the same reason you said, no one would believe him unless they saw it.
