How would you improve your backpack

OK guys & gals I need some help to see what your needs/wants are for accessories to, or for packs or the things that are commonly duck taped to your packs that should be clipped on. Don't be shy I would like to hear any and all thoughts. If you have any pics of how you have modified your pack, again please share them with me. I am going into the backcountry and want to maximize my space/weight. :thumb :arrow

More external pockets with snaps or zippers for small to medium misc gear.

And as Cody Said More straps to strap things in place on the exterior of the pack

First to improve my back pack I need it small enough to take even if it is just for a day but open up big enough to hold enough for a week long stay on Red Castle. My pack for that trip weighs 125lbs and I only have half what you should. Then tie ones and straps for bow’s shotguns and rifles. That you might be taking with quick access incase you bump something on the trek in that you just can not pass on. And last but the most important thing I need for my back pack is :-$
Some one else carrying it!!!!! Cause that stuff is heavy. Build me one like that

I have a old Jansport D3 that i have used since 1976 .
It has two straps along the back that help support the load and in use them to hold arrows or tripod or fly-rods . If i need to add anything more i use bungee cords.
