Huge Utah moose down (UPDATE)

Im excited to see em too! After taking pics of those Bulls I found a few weeks back I want to see someone that actually took a big one.

I have a pic that was sent to me of the moose during the scouting season and I have to say he is HUGE! I believe the #1 spot will be contended for sure.

I would like to post the pic, but I will wait for permmission before doing so.

So I was just talking to my friend Rob this morning about this. 2 of our buddies (Travis & Cody) were hunting somewhere down south and someone came walking along and told them that he has a Sportsman's tag & had tracked a monster moose and asked them if they wanted to see it. Someone said they were filming for Christensen Outdoors and the Moose would later be on TV.

Pretty weird cause my friend Rob said nothing about Christensen Arms or the TV show, I said to him "Yeah, I was reading about this on a forum yesterday... Its Christensen Outdoors." He started laughing and said its funny that we both heard of this moose from different people (Small world).

Anyway, Travis explains that its probably the biggest Bull he had seen. It was hit with 2 arrows, the first shot stuck right in the front shoulder and the Moose didnt even flinch. Not sure they got to see the kill on the animal but it would have still been an amazing site to see. I cant wait to see pics of this thing after all ive heard about it.

I've heard that there has been several East Canyon permit holders watching it. Just waiting for this Saturday to come and even Mossback was going to have the Gov. tag holder on it this week. That should make a few of the Mossback haters happy. When Rob told me that he might not shoot it becuase it was'nt 50" wide. All I could say, are you freaking crazy? Those palms are huge. I think it is a 13x13. 47" wide and should score around 170". Congrats Rob, you made the right choice. :thumb

I was able to see this bull and all I can say is WOW!

I was happy and suprised to hear that Rob went after it with his bow. Incredible animal that I can't wait to watch on TV. Congratulations Rob!
