Hummingbirds - 2008

Here is one from today, more to come later. (click for bigger image)

Manual Mode
Shutter Speed 2500
ISO was 400 or 800
White Balance was either shade, cloudy, or daylight depending on weather.

I change these settings all the time or minute by minute depending on conditions.

Hope this helps...

Very cool Brett. Do you mind posting your camera settings on this photo. I learn alot on what settings to approximatly try by seeing photos by others.

Nice pictures!

That has to be either 800 or shot with a flash. All but one set of wings are stopped.

Couple more of a sweet male, my mom took these.

No flash here, can't get the wings to freeze unless they are all the way forward or back.

Very nice. I have my feeders out but have yet to see a bird.

We have a bunch of butterfly bushes, some honey suckel, and a huge trumpeter vine which all attract the humming birds. We had our first visitors this weekend.

Good shots Brett!
