I'm back too....
AGCHAWK

Had another great hunt this year, although the true hogs eluded me this year. I did manage to take a nice 4x4, 20.5" spread on the second to last day of my hunt. I saw the same buck the morning before the season and again the second day of the hunt but wanted to see if I could find anything better. As it turned out I didn't so my brother and I made a push for him and managed to take him about an hour before sundown.
On the last day of my trip my brother and I decided to try the lowlands and farm fields to see if we could manage to spook a decent White-tail up for him. It had been a few years since he had downed a White-tail so we went at it. We barely had a chance to work up a sweat when a 4x5, 18.5" white-tail buck burst from the edge of some winter wheat fields. My brother made a beautiful shot from about 200 yards to make it another double-down year for us.
Once I get the pics (I left my camera behind when I flew back) I'll post them for all to enjoy.
I also took a nice boar here in California before I headed out for the deer season. Pretty decent 2" tusks on the big boy.
