I need new hunting pants.. Any suggestions?

I have completely wore my insulated water resistant pants out. I cannot sew any more holes up and the poor things have had a rough life..
Ive looked and cannot find the sames ones I love.. Do any of you have suggestions on which kind to get?
I need water resistant for sure and if possible insulated cause im a wuss lol

check out Cabela's, all my hunting suits for the last 30 years or more have come from there, every thing i get is either gore-tex or Cabela's Bone-dry, they hold up very well for me.

All kidding aside though, I'll second what was said above. Cabelas has a freat selection. Wool is kinda heavy but keeps its insulating qualities even when its wet but lets the wind get to you unless you get the windstopper lining.

Goretex is a great choice. Great all around.

By all means do NOT get cotton. It has no moisture wicking capabilities and when it gets wet it gets you in trouble.

I've never tried fleece but have heard good things about it. Goodluck in choosing some good clothing. In my opinion it is one of the most important safety items.

Oh I have some :) I need winter pants tho.. Been hiking in 3 feet of snow this past week lookin for fresh moose sheds. Even waterproofing doesnt last all day

I've had a pair of Filson wool pants for 11 years now and they show little wear. Pricey but they do the job and last a long time.
