That's my home state so I'll be applying for deer, elk, and antelope. It's tough to draw a tag without a bonus point system but maybe I'll get lucky 4c 4c

J0n, you know I'll be out there again this year. Haven't decided on what I'm puttin' in for though.
I'm pickin' up my regulations tomorrow.

I'm going on a general elk hunt in unit 69. My brother said last year he say a bull that he figured was in the 360 range. He said that nobody got him so I'm going to give it a shot this year. And I'll go general season for Mulies up around Mackey, I don't remember what unit it is.

Applying for deer, elk, antelope, and bear. It's tough to draw so I'll probably hunt hard in general...

JOn,

Be careful what you wish for. I'd guess if you ask hunters in states that have bonus or preference point systems, most of them would wish they didn't. I personally think that Arizona's is one of the better ones, and I still wish we didn't have it!

Oh yeah! I have applied for late season deer and antelope. I drew on elk last year so I have to wait until next year to draw. Unless there are any leftovers in any of the units I want. Good luck with your applications! Happy Hunting!

I understand there are pros and cons to every system, but man it gets frustrating when you look at the draw odds and you only have a 12% chance of getting drawn. I think it would be nice to feel like by putting in every year I was at least getting closer to getting drawn, rather than starting at square one every year, IMO....
