Idaho Bowhunting/Elk

Earlier this spring my uncle informed me that he has married a gal whose family has a cabin near Illinois peak on the Id/Mt border, apparently near Unit 10 in Id. I am planning to take my wife out there this September to try to call her in a Bull. Seeing that I'm in swampeast Missouri and have not a clue about this area, I was wondering if anyone could give me a sense of how the elk hunting was in that area (Lolo/Clearwater region). Any and all info would be appreciated as we will be freelancing. Poor girl, I'm going to be her guide. She's a killer, I'm a caller, and we neither one have the first clue about Idaho.

Ive been there once and from what i remeber it is steep steep country. horses would be a great help if your not wanting to spend two days paking it out. there should be some good bulls thogh if you can call them in. hope i helped a little

I figured it must be really "ROUGH" 'cause all I've heard is that it is a good area but it seems like no one knows anything about it.
