Idaho coyotes (2)

My buddy and I and another guy went out scouting for my Idaho unit 40 late buck tag this morning. Saw about a hundred deer. Probably 35 bucks. About 70% were 4 points or better, but we didn't see any hogs like we did a couple weeks ago. We also spotted about 6 coyotes (two of which we were able to shoot) and we also saw about 10 sage hens and 4 antelope. Good scouting trip in my book. Shot with a .260 Remington falling block action. Sweet little rifle. Took one shot each on the dogs. My buddy tried to shoot a third one at 529 yards (ranged it) and he just missed by inches.
