Well, I don't know if this is technically a shed but it is a great find regardless. I had just shot my deer this year and my brother was looking for another bruiser for him but spotted this set under an old pine tree. He was elated to say the least. I'm not sure what the "official" point tally is on this buck but it's something like a 10x12, 10x13, 9x11.....who knows. We are guessing this set of horns is probably 25+ years old since there is moss on them and weathered pretty good. Definitely a great find and probably one of those deer that was in his prime back in the good old days here in Idaho. He's got a main frame of 28" and about 33 1/2" wide with cheaters. Good mass, decent eyeguards, some trash and small double droppers. Enjoy the pics and post a score if you can take a good enough guess.
Oh, the antlers/skull was upside down, thus the brown tips and the one broken/bent G3 on the right side. It wasn't chewed up too bad considering the age of the dang thing!
The last picture is of my buck from this year (29" 4x4) and his spectacular find.

I also agree, he looks to be 200+.
That rack could pass for either White Tail or Muley. I'm leaning Muley.
What do you think?
Look at my post here in the shed section about "skull krazy pix".
That buck used to look even worse than the one you found!!
He's working on three others that look as bad if not worse than yours (and just as big!!).
He fixes them, then i mount them to a reproduction skull.
