Ok folks,
Call me a late bloomer or behind the curve but I just found this site. I am absolutely obsessed with muleys, strange considering I have yet to kill one. I have been hunting mule deer for about 11 years. I have never hunted them with a rifle, though I have killed a lot of whitetail with one. I have been in bow range a few times but have yet to get to loose an arrow on one. Last year I booked a guided hunt which turned into an absolute disaster. I have another hunt booked this year on November 28 through 30th. I intend to take my bow and a rifle. I hope this will be the year and furthermore hope I can get it done with my bow. I live in the Texas Panhandle and despite the drought we have been seeing a ton of deer. I have killed two whitetail with my bow so far this year and hope the trend continues. If anyone has any helpful last minute advise I am all ears.

My only advice is to stick with it! (Sorry it's not much) Sounds like you've had a great year so far... I hope you finally get one!
