YES!!!!
For the first time I drew out for one of the coveted Limited Entry tags! The email came and now it's official. I'll be headed down to the La Sal mountains for Elk with my bow. Here's hoping the rut down there starts a little early. Tell us what you drew and where you're going... =D>

Also, question for you wise longtime archery hunters. I killed my deer last year with 300 grain carbon arrows, and a Montech G5 100 grain broadhead. My bow is a Bowtech Tomkat. Any need to make any changes for the bigger bodied elk?

Wow, congrats! As long as they're sharp, you should have no problem with your set-up...Pick a spot and make a good shot.... :thumb

I would say that your set up for deer will be just fine for elk. Its all about placement.

I'd have to agree. They make that new Montech G5 that is apparently a lot sharper. I'll hit that up but I agree that the key is placement. I'm stoked!!! :)) Thanks for the feedback.
