Great pics. Thanks for sharing. Most of those are areas you would never see in pictures from Italy.

 Thats one thing I am really trying to do while I am here. Sure I am getting out to see all the usual stuff like venice and rome, but I really want to get out and see some of the other things. The mountains here in Italy are awsome.


Thanks to everybody for all the comments. I will look through my harddrive and post some more soon. I have taken roughly 4000 pics since August. Thank god for digital cameras I cant even imagine what that would cost in film.

Are you stationed at Aviano? My brother in law is there (and my sister-in-law and neice as well) and we are going to visit the end of March. I am excited to see the alps and the countryside, my wife is excited about the historical places and museums/architecture.

Very nice photos. Thanks for sharing. We'd love to see more if you've got them.

No I am in the army stationed in Vicenza its about two hours west of Aviano. The Alps are great and you will be very close while at Aviano. Hope you enjoy your trip. I am going to post a few more pics in a new post.
