Javelina Season Starts Tomorrow!

Javelina season starts tomorrow here in Arizona. I can't remember a year when I've had so many herds located, in so many different units. Here's a trail cam photo from a couple days ago. I was changing the card on one this afternoon, when I saw a Javelina walking toward me. I had to lay the trail cam down quickly, and duck out of sight. The damn thing came and laid down within about a foot of the camera, so I had to just go off and leave it and move a few miles away. I got into another group, that contained the most aggressive javelina I've ever seen! He kept circling me and jumping and snapping at me. I've never had them do that before. There was at least one more over in the bushes, so perhaps they had a very small baby he was protecting or something? I just backed out after he made his 5th circle around me.... Maybe I'LL be the one snapping at HIM tomorrow!!
