i didn't realize they were open there until june 30. thanks for the info, i'm working in quesnel and williams lake right now. how was the coat on your bear? it looks good in the pics but hard to tell.

what did the bear square at? and what is your guess on skull size? also what did you shoot it with?

The coat was exellent.He is an old bear about 12 yrs old with broken teeth claws and his nose.He was a round bear so he squared about 6"4 but we still have to skin him out.My last years bear was 19 6/16 and this bears skull is bigger so hes between that and 20.I shot him about 75 yrds away with a 30-06 mountain rifle while he was eating ants

great trophy, i love bear hunting. have you shot any trophy deer? i hunt farwell canyon and empire valley every year and have seen some monster bucks come out of the williams lake area.

Last year i got 2 bucks that are on this website to.One was 165 5/8 and the other was 154 4/8.I have hunted farwell to alot of big deer come out of this country.

My dad grew up in W.L and he has killed alot of big deer.
