I am originally from Utah, but now I live in Texas. A friend took that photograph and sent it on to me. It is somewhere close to the area you are speaking of, but further north I am guessing. I am also familiar with some of the quality bucks that are in Vernon, Utah. That unit is the first place I ever deer hunted with my dad over 24 years ago. I have a picture of a buck that was killed in Vernon with a muzzleloader that scores around the 200 mark. Its huge.

I got an email from a friend that had a buck killed in Vernon 2 years ago during the muzzleloader season. It scored right at 198 and if I am correct there was very little deductions. He took this buck out in the flats between the resivoir and the mountains to the west. It was a pig of a deer. I wish you the best of luck and please send us a photo when you do.

The buck on the left is located at the deseret chemical depot behind a guarded fence!!! He is seen everyday by hundreds of workers! He is a good 40 miles North from the Vernon boundry. If you took this photo while scouting you A. Wasted your time and B. lucky you didn't get shot! 2 words for ya "DREAM ON"!

These bucks are on the Tooele Army Depot. The buck on the left was poached around the third week in November. After the guy shot it he took it to the DWR office to have them score it and told them that he shot it on the general season hunt but the DWR had been watching this buck for a while. BUSTED

I'll bet this wasn't the first time this poacher took deer illegally.Maybe the law(judge) will put some teeth into the laws.
POACHERS ARE WORTHLESS.

This monster was poached last year, by a young man now 18. He is going to pay a hefty price. The deers name was freetoes. He was a wild deer but was very tame. My neighbor was 25 ft from him at one time. Everyone around here knew him the idiot took him to the DWR office to have him scored. A sad loss to the gene-pool.

Stop the madness. I have heard both stories about this deer and have seen countless photos of him. If he was poached, I am sure somebody could find some published article about what truly happened. As far as a enhanced photo like Nevada hunter things, that is wrong ! This is the real deal. With as many people who seem to know the true story of this deer maybe they could post a link to whatever Division of Wildlife website that claims to have caught the young poacher.

The picture is doctored. The antlers have been stretched by about 5 inches on each side. Print the picture off and you can see the distortion in the bushes behind it. There are other pics of a large 3x3 in the same bachelor herd which has been stretched as well. So all you jokers who say you have seen this deer or know the person that took it, you are idiots.
