Lake Trout

My son and I chased browns for a few hours today and ended up with one 4lb brown and 3 lake trout betwen 3 and 6.5 lbs

In the first couple of pics, the weather is looking good. Rain, wind and a good chop on the water. By the third pic you can see the sun is coming out, the wind is about gone and the fishing turned off with the weather.

I would normally release the browns this small, but this one had a hook in her gills and she wouldn't have survived. I don't mind too much, they are excellent table fare!
