IM HEADED UP TO UNIT 51 LATE SEPT. ANY ONE KNOW IF IT IS WORTH TAKING A BEAR TAG TO GO WITH MY ELK TAG? ANY HELP WITH THIS UNIT WILL SURE HELP.

Seen a number of bear over the years in that area always kicking up dirt the other direction unless I got a flyrod in my hand or cooking breakfeast in camp. I do know for a fact that a gut pile doesn't last over tweelve hours but I 'm not sure you can hunt over them, might be considerd baiting.
