Here's last years general season Utah buck.
I'll be holding out for something a little better this year.
I understand on eating tag soup, as I ate it for mulies for 2005 in both Wyoming and Colorado.
In 06 I hunted Colorado and Montana for mulies and Colorado and Wyoming for Pronghorns.
Montana 2006 & Colorado 2006 Mulies
Thanks

Saw another buck that was this same size, but was a five by five. Could only get within 60 yards of the five by five. Shot this deer at 33 yards,
Shot this guy on the general Utah Archery hunt last year. P&Y score is 163 2/8 gross and 163 net
This is my sisters 2006 buck
I know this fall is going to be a great hunt...I can't wait!

GPWDeer, Let's see your 2004 & 2005 buck..... :thumb
This is the buck I shot last day of the season 2004 just as it started to snow in the area south of the Salmon River. Not a record book buck but definitely the best one I've had the pleasure of taking (my dad is the old guy!!:))
This is the buck my dad shot in 2005 on the second to the last day within 50 yards of where mine was shot the year before. This was a strange deer. When we saw it originally we didn't think for a second it was a whitetail (the unit we hunt in has VERY FEW if any whitetail deer). We only saw a quick glimpse of the deer as it was running down the draw. It stopped but was behind a tree for me. My dad still had a clear shot and he drilled it. When we got over to it, we realized it had a 12" white tail and the antlers were shaped more like a white tail than a muley. The body was enormous. I think it might have been the fabled cross-breed muley/whitetail. Anyone think it may have crossed? Anyone think it is 100% whitetail?
While I'm at it, here is the Bull elk my mom blasted on opening morning not more than 1/2 mile from our honey hole last year. What a brute.
IMO, that for sure is a Mulie/Whitetail Cross, no doubt about it....solid white tail, color of hide....that brownish color, long browtines.
bottom picture- colorado public land archery 149 gross.
My two bucks for 2007.
79ford I think 180's. Not many deductions. NICE.
If you really must know bigbuck msg me and I'll tell ya exactly where I was. Even give you the GPS coordinates if you like. He wasn't far from another one that will be about the same size this year.
