Leupold Switch Power?

I have been packing the same old 10X50 Leupolds and a Nikon 20-60 spotting scope for way too long. The Leupolds have treated me right and the spotting scope is great to about 25X. I am interested in the Leupold Switch in the 10-17. They are marked way down right now and I would like some input before I drop $700. Thanks.
