Hey Guys,
After 4 trips out west hunting elk and muley's I'm inclined to get me a lever gun for the timbered areas I tend to hunt. I've shot a model 94 in 7-30 waters for years for eastern whitetails and I'm quite comfortable shooting deer with my Lyman receiver sight. This rifle has taken 22 deer since 1985. My thoughts are to get a Marlin 444 and rig it up with same sight set up. I would prefer a Browning 71 in 348, but they are too expensive for me to afford. Any thoughts?
Thanks
Wyatt

Hornady has finally mader leverultion pointed flex tips available to the public for reloading.
The ballistics with these new bullets make those big lever guns a lot more deadly and add more range to your shot distance.
