Lion and Ram fall to their death

All,
I am not the least bit sure about the information attached to these pics...but the pics are certainly authentic and tell a pretty brutal tale.
It appears that the cat had decided that the young ram looked like a decent enough meal...but failed to think things through. From the pics, it looks like the cat got ahold of the ram and either forced it over the cliff or the ram TRIED to get to stepper ground while the cat tried to take him down. Either way, they both met pavement...ending the lived of both.
(The information I have is that this occured in Glacier National Park. It looks a lot like BC to me but quite frankly, it doesn't matter. The pics are pretty cool.)

It really does make you wonder how often this kind of thing happens. There is not much room for error on those rocks.
I was thinking the exact same thing. I'm sure it happens more than any of us will ever realize.
Great post AGCHAWK!
Background: My brother, Daniel, was visiting a friend in Montana and
touring through Glacier National Park. They were hiking up a CLOSED
ROAD when they came upon this scene. It is evident that the mountain
lion and bighorn sheep were fighting on the mountain and fell to their
immediate death sometime during the struggle. Pay special attention to
the mouth of the mountain lion.....as it still has sheep hide in its
mouth!!!! ENJOY!

No matter...as I stated in my original post, the pics really tell the tale...not the text that came along with em.
