looking for hunt info in east WY

new guy here. cool site. love all the pics. me and a couple of buddies are gonna try and go out west this fall, on an archery muley hunt. they have hunted the Thunder Basin area a couple times, but we are hearing negative things about the deer herd in this area due to the drought the last few years. CO told one of them we should draw for region J i think it was, south of Casper. not looking for a trophy by any means. if i kill a buck, it WILL be a trophy to me. this will be my first, (and maybe only for a few years), western hunt. i am a flatlander from south arkansas, but grew up fascinated with mule deer. any info ya'll could help me out with would be greatly appreciated. mark....
