Mahi Mahi - Can you estimate the weight?

My brother and I caught a couple fish two weeks ago in Playa Del Carmen. El Capitan did not have a weigher unfortunately. Can anyone estimate the weight of these fish? I'm no good at guesses like this, but I know some people are. I used a snake measuring program to get the length.
From left to right: 46 inches, 41 inches, 36 inches (barracuda).

Let me know if you have a guess on the weight. If your headed down there let me know and I'll tell you the outfit I went with. It was very inexpensive to fish.

Really no clue on the weight? But that sure does look like fun. 10sign:

I'll take a stab...

I'll say the biggest is in the 25-30lb range, the second in the 15-20lb range and the barracuda around 10-12lb range.

Dolphin! I hardly ever hear that. That's exactly what they call them down there. Yes we ate them fresh that night with a party of 24. We had the time of our lives down there. I want to go back right now.

Depending on where in the world you are they go by either mahi mahi, dolphin or dorado. I caught a few of them down in Cabo San Lucas and they were called dorados there.

I headed to the east cape Saturday, we're going to be there a week. Hope to boat a few Dorado while we're there.
this will be my 3rd trip down to the Baha and it just keeps getting better every trip. Have not heard of many tuna being caught but some fresh yellow fin will go good with a cold cervasa.

Here's a Dorado my son got a couple of years ago. I think it was in the 50 lbs class.

I've caught a few of those "dolphin" fly fishing before. What a blast!!! I think you are getting some very good guesses with the largest around 30#. Now a 50# dolphin on the other hand is an absolute monster!

Great catches in this thread. We call them mahi mahi or dorado, I'm in Asia.

My guesses would be in 30 for the first, 20 for the second, and 15 for the last one.
