Merrel target for broadhead

I recently bought one of the merrel targets, yellow jacket or something like that. The target is for field points it says, however, I would like to know if anyone has used broadheads on it. it's made of nylon and stuffed with plastic, foam, etc. and is about 12-15'' thick. Would a broadhead just blow right through this? thanks

If you didn't pass through I imagine you'd have a tough time with arrow removal

I bought one of those Block targets a few years back and they are advertised that you can use broadhead on them. You can, and you can get your arrows out fairly easy but the blades tend to break off little pieces here and there. Not sure about the one you've got but I don't think I'd use broadheads on it unless it says you can.

The target you're describing (Yellow Jacket F/P is for field points only.......I would not recommend shooting broadheads in it.

The Yellow Jacket B/H is designed for broadheads only. You can shoot field points in it, but it takes an act of Congress to pull them out. Hope it helps.

 Man I can second that. My roomates bought me one for my birthday and of course the first thing I did was throw it in the yard and take a couple shots :arrow . At 15 yrds both my arrows( with field points) stuck in about a foot and a half. It took two of us 10 minutes of pulling to get the 2nd one out. The first one we snapped off after two or three pulls. so make sure you read those labels!! #-o #-o

I agree! Don't shoot field points into that Yellowjacket bh target! I was sighting in with new broadheads and shot a few field points first, BIG mitake! Took forever to get them out. To top it off I missed the whole target with a broadhead at 50 yds, hit the hillside and shatterd into 100 peices. Muzzy mx-4 100gr, I swear they fly funny. More likely I just suck.

And I thought I was the only idiot who shot field tips into the broadhead target!

Even pulling broadheads out takes a lot of force, I have blisters from pulling them without an arrow puller. It gets better the more you shoot though.
