Here is a bull that one of my good friends was able to harvest on Saturday evening. The action was amazing as we were able to sneak in on him and 2 other bulls screaming, carrying on and fighting. My friend was able to send a 180 grain .300 RUM TSX bullet right through his chest as he was coming in at 30 yards.
Here are some pics.

Fun Hunt, no wonder it takes so many years to draw a rut hunt on this unit.

Congrats to the hunter on the bull of a lifetime.
AWESOME BULL!! :thumb :thumb
I had the camera with us, the problem was that it happened so fast after trailing him for so long, that I didn't capture it on film. We were within 100 yards of the bulls for close to 1 hour, the problem was that we needed to be 50 yards to actually see them. The wind swirled so many times on us and busted us at least 3 times, I am surprised that they stuck around. They just feel so comfortable in the thick stuff.
