Monster 3-point (4 years running)

Bit bored at the moment, so figured I'd share a very cool buck I've watch for the last several years.

This is the BIGGEST true 3-point I've ever seen. And just saw him last week for he first time all summer, was afraid he didn't make it back this year. But is alive and well. A HUGE bodied buck, that is actually on his way down but very big still.

Pics pulled from video, I thought I had him on video this year but had the dang camera on PAUSE. #-o

His best year was 2005 when he grew a big hook cheater. Has double eye-guards on his left side that are hard to see in photos. It points out at you and is long and sharp!

The photos don't do him justice either as he was pushing 35" in 2005.

Hope you enjoy!

Will try one more time this year hopefully to get video of him.

Thats amazing that he has stayed about the same size for all of those years. If you give one of our midwest whitetails that many years growth you would see alot of growth.

Great looking photos and nice job staying with him year after year. :thumb Someone needs to get it out of the gene pool though, looks like he's 3x4 for life.

Yea he is a 3-point for life, but a 3 this big can be in my gene pool for as long as he wants. I don't mind a bit. :thumb

His biggest year, 2005 I honestly think he would have grossed 190". I know that sounds crazy for a 3-point but that is my guess.

Here is front view, side, and back from his biggest year 2005.

Not the best pics, but you get the point. :)

I knew I'd take crap for the 190" comment. :)

I'm probably a tad high, but hey it makes for a better story right. :)) :)) J/K

He wouldn't net near that high, but with the double eye-guards and big hook cheater plus his big main frame I figured he would be up there. His one eye-guard, which isn't visible is 3 1/2 to 4 inches long.

Anyone have any pics of MONSTER 3-points or scores for comparison? I knew of one but can't find the picture now.

I could care less about his score BTW, just for fun.

This may be the same buck, not sure what he scores. Saw him in November of 2007.

J-BIRD, yep thats him. Was he running off other bucks a lot? He was the boss in my neck of the woods.

I know he wasn't the biggest buck in that neck of the woods but he had a few more does than the bigger one did.

Thanks for the pics Brett. I think it's just kind of weird how some bucks can grow to be that big and in the prime of their life and still stay main frame 3x3, and other bucks with different genes become 4x4's after just a couple of years. Personally i wouldn't hesitate putting him on the ground and would almost rather take a nice big 3 rather than a big 4.

Brett the buck was actually harvested on the alton cwmu and was said to be 35 inches wide and grossed in the 190's.
