Monster Colorado Buck - couple years ago

I know this is old news to some of you, but does anyone have more info or the correct info on this one?

Taken a couple of years ago in Colorado.

Never seen those before but what a BEAST!! I love the mass that's carried out on every one of those beams, and the trash he has. That's an unreal muley, thanks for the pics Brett!

Wow! Great buck! I'm so glad Colorado finally woke up in 1999 and started limiting the number of tags and going to a 100% draw. We had the genectics and feed but they had way to much pressure, kind of like Utah is now. Now its time for UDWR to wake up and cut the number of tags. I know they're killing some nice bucks in Utah during the general season, but if they'd cut the number of tags by 25-30% for a few years, kill a few more cougars, the hills would be alive with big bucks again, kind of like the 60-70's.

It is a nice thought but it will never happen. It should be painfully obvious that the Utah dwr only cares about money. Look at the changes for application fees and now we have to buy a hunting liscence plus the animal tag. :>/

This buck known as Moses, was featured in one of David Longs videos, and was killed in CO 4 orv 5 years ago. I believe it was 36-38 wide, scoring 230+.

 It would help if DOW would reduce the price to Non-Residents....at $300 dollars!!! I don't think very many does are going to die.

In Colorado, the buck/doe ratio is out of wack in some areas. I've heard rumors that CDOW is going to reduce the price of doe tags in the next year or two.

Great buck! If I remember right, wasn't there some controversy over this buck? Like it lived close to a subdivision and people thought of it as a pet? Maybe I am thinking of another one.

I got this from another site...

The photos that have been going around are actually photos that were originally emailed around after the 2003 fall hunts. The buck is indeed a Colorado buck and it was taken in 2003 by John Grubich. The buck is not any kind of record, but is a very impressive deer. It measures 37 1/2-inches outside spread and scores 225 gross B&C
