I recieved the same pics a few days ago and in the eamil it was claimed the moose was killed near Thunder Bay, Ontario. I doubt it was shot in Ontario most likely B.C or some where in Western Canada. Hopefully someone will have acurate details on this monster.

Thought I'd jump in and share what little I know about this bull. It is an Ontario bull shot outside of Thunder Bay. It was officially scored at 231 3/8" on Jan17th. It is the new Ontario Record. It was shot by Fred Hilliard in early November '08. The sprend was 64 1/2". I believe that the bull may have been taken in area 11b. I do agree that dosen't look like an Ontario bull , but it is. Hope this helps,if anyone else has any input please share........this bull is a big deal for us "moose lovers" living in Ontario.

The last photo is the only one that seems to draw me in other than that it just looks a like "another moose" but first do mean huge as in antler wise or body wise? the last one is pretty amazing though.

Thanks for the info. It's so RARE that we get the details of these internet photos that get emailed around the world while leaving out important things hunters want to know to verify the photos.

The current 'huge moose' going around the net looks like a 12' high moose coming out of the woods and walking down a forest road on Realtree is most likely a 'huge photoshop'. Thanks again.
