Montana Buck

Took this guy on Sunday. First spotted him at 3/4 of a mile at first light in a timbered coulee with a doe. I worked in on him for over two hours and shot him at 80 yards as he tried to slip out the bottom and had to move across a small clearing... One shot with the .257 and he dropped instantly. One of the best hunts I've had.

Good eye - an 84m in .257 Roberts with French walnut. I'm a sucker for old but good calibers.

She shoots MOA at 100 yards with factory ammo. Hard to handload with groups like that. Especially with a gun that light.
