Ran across 3 Mtn goats while bear hunting and got some good pics,this nice Billy was rutted up and raking the trees as i got close,when I got within about 20 feet he started looking down his nose at me with "crazy eyes"(3rd pic),he went back to raking the tree and finally moved off.

Nonya, Nice photos of those Mountain Goats. I saw a bunch of them in Beartooth/Absaroka last summer. Do you apply for MT goat tags each year? Have you ever drawn a MT sheep, goat or Moose tag?

He's about an 8 inch billy, an ear is 4 inches long, thats how u judge them, and if u could turn the horns around and touch his nose shoot first ask questions later cus u could have a record goat.
