Moon rise at sunset !!

A few photos I took at sunset as the moon was rising over Cache Valley while Cody was Duck hunting !!

The photos were taken with my camera on set on Sunset under scene settings. I even use it during the day becase it make the colors richer and way more contrast. The purple and pink was coming fromthe beautiful sunst behind me at dark. The photo of cody in the Kayak was with my camera set on the back lit setting . Other wise the flash would have lit up Cody and the hills would have been blacked out.

Here is the very first sunset photo I took with my camera. It is a photo of Cody back lit by a sunset on Thunder Peak while bowhunting in California. Again on the Sunset mode.

You must have done those pond photo's off a tripod, not much light. How in the world did you get the duck in the first one clear? Should have been a fairly long exposure and I can clearly see the wake and the duck? Really neat photo's!

my digital camera handles low light photo very well .
The sun had set for around 20 min and it was getting dark but not black and the full moon was very large and bright . You could have gone hunting last night it was so bright. I took this photo of the moon through my spotting scope.
