In my honest opinion I think the units may be good for utah next year but my question is why the Heck are they not making the limited entry units a regular unit like everywhere else? They're taking at least 2 limited entry units that I know of (Thousand Lakes, Oak Creek)that we have today and making them a general unit. All thats going to do is make it that much harder to draw out for the Henerys, Pauns, Books, and San Juan. Why not just make them a general unit like the rest of the state?
Another thing I wondered is why dont they divide some of the units in half? Looking at the map some of the units are dang near as big as a region that we have today. For example I'm looking at the san rafel unit right now, Looks to me like I-70 would be to easy for a dividing line. Not saying that the units wont work but there could be more then 30 units in the state.
Thats just my Opinion but I'd like to here what some of you guys think of it...

When their very first map came out last year oak creek was marked as a general unit if I remember correctly but this new map its not marked that way
It doesn't make sense to me to desigante some as Limited Entry and others as General Season when the state is broken down into so many units... unless you consider the fact that they can charge more for a tag in a unit that's labeled as Limited Entry. I'd still like to see the LE and general points systems merged.
It will be interesting to see what all happens in the next couple years here in Utah. I look forward to being closer and being able to be a little more active as well.
