More Mulies
one hunting fool

So I got a call from my friend that owns the land up on the hill side that I took the last pictures on. he said “go down to the fields and get a look at the deer starting to come down to the alfalfa fields there might be some nice deer close by for your boys to hunt”
I went and met him its about ½ hour from my house. Took the camera and this is what I got.
These 3 bucks where in a field I sneaked into within 100 yards

Then while I was snapping pictures fro about 20 minutes I heard something behind me and saw this little guy walking up

We waited a few then went to another field that bordered his alfalfa. That’s when we saw this guy

Then I spotted the one the land owner told me about first picture is a little blurry but you get the idea

You can tell by the color in the background that its getting dark

I hope we let him get one more year under him. I am all for it but some damn poacher will probably get him. We are starting to watch the area for trespassers just in case. I would love to see him next year we figure he is a three year old now.

Thanks Brett, hey you see a lot of deer how wide you think he is? Take a look at the other three point by the wheat and just coming into the green field. You can see this is a mature buck compared to the other 3 point. This is the one I am going to try and let my son's get close to with a bow. Neither of them have shot a bow much so should just be fun getting them out there with me.

Good luck to you and your boys. What a first buck if you get him, hope you do. Either way let us know how the hunting goes.....
