morel mushrooms

so anyone finding morels now?
last weekend i found 155, monday was the big day of 95 in one spot in about 1 1/2 hrs. in a new spot i 've been wanting to try.
so i went back yesterday and found 280 more in the same area!
i've never found them like this before, i found the real honey hole! there was one spot i picked up over 100 mushrooms in about a 25 ft circle. and i have only been to about 1 / 10 th of the logging area.
so how much do morels sell for?

Think I was told about $25 bucks a pound.

No....dang it. I was going to go this weekend but spent the time with the kids instead. (They had baseball and t-ball games all weekend)

I'm not sure what they are going for...but I know it's a lot. Of course, I just get em for my own home cookin'.

 lol No kidding I'm not sure what my state of mind would be if I ate the ones that grow here in North Carolina. I think I will just leave them alone since I know nothing about them.
