Interesting. Got a few wrong. One was the B&C min. You should specify all time or Awards because most guys think about All-time.

Good quiz. When I first glanced at it I thought it was rather easy. However, I missed three of darn things! I guess I'm not as smart as I thought I was.
Thanks for pointing that out, as if my wife pointing this out every day is not enough, now I have you guys doing it too.
Fun though, I'd like to see more of this stuff on here.

Yeah it was fun. Missed the B&C one too. The minimum is 190, as the awards only is 180 and is not published for the all-time book. Just a suggestion though. Thanks for having something new.

just wondering how we get "promoted" for lack of a better word, to spike, 2point or a buck like the site admin

It has to do with how often, and how much you post and discuss on the forum here at muleymadness.com

The more Posts you have, the "bigger" your buck gets. Once you reach the minimun amount of posts, and replies to other posts, you become a "spike" with the respective picture. And he just keeps getting bigger!

You could change your username to... He'll_Be_Bigger_The_More_I_Post.
:D

Great Question.

I hope that makes sense?

akw270......how come your buck is bigger than BOHNTR and he has almost twice as many posts? :?: :)

AKW270 must have better genes than BOWHNTR. Feed is probably a factor also......BOWHNTR has spent too much time in the drive-thru.....stunting that "bone" growth!

BOHNTR
Oooouuch! I think I just got slammed. Hey, at least I'm not a spike. :)

Oh Yes, It is definitely Genetics! There is really high grass, and my forefathers where all 30+ inchers!

Actually the real reason is because if you notice next to my name it sais "Moderator". Which directly translated means "privledged."

I moderate the "Rifle Hunting Forum"

So they gave me a "wallhanger" buck.

THE QUIZ WAS PRETTY SWEET, NOT TO DIFFICULT HOWEVER, I AGREE WITH PEOPLE THAT HAVE ALREADY REPLIED I TOO MISSED THE B&C QUESTION.
ACTUALLY I HAVE A COMMENT, I DON'T KNOW IF THIS IS THE RIGHT PLACE TO REPLY IN SUCH A MANNER BUT I HAVE A COMMENT FOR BOHNTR. MAN, YOU KICK A*% WITH YOUR BOW. I HAVE BEEN SEEING PICTURES ALL OVER THE PLACE WITH YOU AND YOUR TROPHIES YOU HAVE BAGGED WITH YOUR BOW. AND THEY ARE ALL JUST MAGNIFICENT ANIMALS. I ACTUALLY JUST TOOK UP BOWHUNTING TWO YEARS AGO AS THE PRESSURE OF RIFLE SEASON WAS JUST GETTING TO BE TOO MUCH FOR ME TO DEAL WITH. I NEVER REALIZED WHAT A CHALLENGE IT IS EVEN MORE SO FOR A GOOD DEER. I GIVE YOU MAD PROPS!!! I KILLED MY FIRST ELK THIS PAST SEASON WITH MY BOW. AND I AM ACTUALLY PRETTY SATISFIED IN MY RESULTS AS THE ELK SEASON WAS TOUGH, HOT, DRY, AND THE ELK WOULD JUST NOT COMMUNICATE AT ALL. I ACTUALLY WAS HEADED BACK TO CAMP AND DROVE PAST A BEAVER POND AND THERE WAS A SMALL 5 POINT STANDIND ON THE POND GETTIN A SWALLOW OF WATER. AND I JUST STEPPED OUT OF THE TRUCK AND WHACKED HIM. I WISH I COULD SAY IT WAS HARDER THAN THAT BUT I GUESS THE SUN SHINES ON EVERY DOGS A*& EVERY KNOW AND THEN. :D

WYMULEYMAN:

Thanks for the kind words and WELCOME to Muleymadness. I've been very lucky over the years I guess. You'll really like the archery gig, especially in Wyoming. I have LOTS of family there (Laramie, Saratoga, Green river, etc.) and know of the trophy potential for serious bow benders. Nice to have you aboard and look forward to your posts.

YEAH I FEEL TRUELY FORTUNATE TO LIVE IN SUCH A PLACE AS WYOMING. WE HAVE SOME PRETTY UNBELIEVABLE COUNTRY AVAILABLE TO US. I SPEND ALOT OF TIME IN SARATOGA, AS SMALL OF A PLACE AS IT IS I PROBABLY KNOW SOME OF YOUR FAMILY. I ALSO WENT TO THE UNIVERSITY OF WYOMING FOR THREE YEARS SO LARAMIE IS ALSO FAMILAR TO ME. I HAVE TWO LITTLE SISTERS THERE. WYOMING DOES HAVE SOME PRETTY GOOD POTENTIAL TO PRODUCE A REAL PIG. I JUST RECENTLY GRADUATED FROM SCHOOL AND I AM NOW LIVING IN JACKSON HOLE WORKING FOR A ARCHITECTURE FIRM SO I AM HOPING TO BE ABLE TO SPEND ALOT OF TIME IN THE COUNTRY AGAIN THIS YEAR, WITH MY BOW. SCHOOL REALLY PUTS A CRAMP IN TIME. ESPICALLY WHEN WE DREAM OF MONSTER MULEYS. GREAT TO BE A PART OF SUCH A AWESOME SITE.

Welcome aboard WYMULEYMAN,

Great to have you aboard! I've enjoyed reading your post and opinions.

As far as the quiz goes, It has had a pretty good turnout. MuleyMadness is going to add some additional quizes in the future, to keep us guessing.
(They fixed the B&C question also)

There is rumor of an upcoming "guess the width" page, that should be pretty fun. Thats why I love this site, Great pics and information, but also lots of fun!

:P i am a member of a couple other websites and other such places among the hundreds of them out there. but the only one i come back to time and time again is this one. the people here are through and through mule deer nuts. i do enjoy elk, moose, bear, antelope and everything else that runs the state of wyoming but i can't seem to let that dream of a true giant mule deer go. i am afraid i will die with an itch for a monster mule deer. the bigger i see them the bigger i dream them. anyways, this website is sweet and i tend to get lost amongst all the different pages and other such material.

WYMULEYMAN:

Man, it's a small world. My wife is a UW graduate. Her father is well established within the university and just about the best father-in-law a guy could have. His name is Arlowe Hulett. Basically all the Hulett's in that part of the country are family. Know any of them? That's where I'm retiring, so save a few of those slammer bucks for me, I'll be there some day. :)

Hulett you say,
man that sounds so familiar, can't seem to put a finger on it though. there are hulett's in saratoga, yes/no. i am almost positive i know that name. retiring to a place like wyoming, just don't get much better than that! i will try to save at least one more good deer for you, but you better hurry. actually wyoming never stops amazing me, even as tough as one thinks the huntin' is, someone one always ends up dropping a pig. there were two or three up north in the jackson area and one that was killed by my home town in rawlins that was just a hog. they are still here for those willing to hunt for it. :P :?:

9 outta 12. All the Muleys I have shot had a white lower jaw, they might of had a black line but overall the jaw was white. Good questions.

Missed the first one, thought it was going to be to hard for me. Then ended up answering the rest correctly.
