How wide is that bottom buck
Just wonderin
Shorty
He's 28" and some change. The picture makes him look a bit wider than he really is.
Nice to see you still posting.
Man I am not even married but I can imagine that you must have one kick a&^ wife to let you put something like that in your house. Someday my friend, someday. I just took all my deer that I have ever killed in the last 12 years and I am going to euro mount each one with a framed picture of the deer. I am pretty excited about having some new house decorations. I had to euro mount them because well basically because I can't afford to shoulder mount each one, plus I don't know if I would have room for all of them. One day I am going to design my own home and it is going to have the nicest game room around.
Man you're right there. She's great......of course she is a Wyoming woman, so she's sort of used to it. Heck, she's even arrowed a few critters herself.
Here's some more areas of the house she "puts up with". Hope you enjoy.
If I'm lucky my place will look something like that.
You gotta love those wyoming girls, they put up with dead critters all the time around here. I once dated a girl that put my hunting skills to shame and she had the trophies to prove it. Man I loved that girl. I just moved into a new house that has those same coves between the walls and ceiling. Perfect for a critter head, actually this next year a couple buddies and I are going to hopefully go to Utah and hunt some lions, that way I can put the kittie cat up in the cove, it will look sweet.
I love hunting blacktails.....I've lost track of how many I've arrowed over the years. I only have one mounted though, it's the four point on the end just right of the bear. It was my first record book blacktail, so I had it mounted. They are a kick to hunt, especially in the rut!
Thanks for the kind words. I've been VERY lucky over the years with the bow & arrow is all.
Welcome to the board and congrats on the coues deer. Post some photos up, I'd like to see em'. That's one tough little deer to hunt with a bow......I've been trying for a few years now.
Welcome and thanks for sharing your mount and picture. Looks like a great buck.
and here is the real deal
My buddy and I washed the mouth about 1/2 a dozen times but the blood just kept coming.
He scores in the mid to upper 70's. He was chasing a doe through the trees and we couldn't tell if he was a 3x3 or a 2x2. As it turned out, he was a 2x2. I'm proud of him of him none the less.
Nice coues buck....congrats and thanks for posting it up.
