Muley Photos

Hey all, I'm a long time lurker, first time poster. I was out with the wife and kids this past weekend and came across a few groups of deer. My wife humored me and let me fulfill my deer fix by going after each group we found. I played with my new telephoto lens and got some good shots I thought I would share with this site. I had fun stalking up on them and getting some great photos. Too bad these guys come out of hiding after the hunt is over. If left alone for a couple of years though, some of these could end up being some real bruisers. Enjoy

Here's a buck that hangs out in a cemetary near my work. Occasionally, I take my lunch and watch him while eating. He is quite used to cars pulling up within 20 feet to gok. Once he even laid his head down and closed his eyes while I had my window down, radio playing, and eating an apple. If you look close he has a triple eye guard on one side and a double on the other. Next year he'll be quite impressive Ithink. I was there last week and thought a diferent buck had come in. Instead he has broken off the G4 of the smaller antler. He looked like a 2 x 4. i didn't have my camera that day. I went back today to get a before/afte pic but he wasn't there. Instead there was this tiny two point. Smallest two I've ever seen.
