Hi everyone,
I'm a midwest whitetail hunter with limited muley experience. I know that this is a ways out but I'm looking for the best place to hunt big mulies. So far I have 1 point for both Colorado and Wyoming and am planning this hunt for 2015. I plan on spending somewhere between 3k-6k, but am looking for my best opportunity at a 175" plus. Any suggestions.
Thanks

When you talk about spending 3-6K you must be thinking guided?
I suppose going with a hard to draw area with a guide would give you the best chance at a 175 class muley.
Best bet would be to get on a ranch with some good deer management for trophies. Spending 6 K
I think would get you into some good stuff.
Thanks for the response! I've been on a lot of low budget trips with ok success. Living in Wisconsin with two small children makes it difficult to do an adequate amount of scouting. The deal that I worked out with my wife is that I can take a high dollar trip every five years. This year is Idaho elk and mulies. I'm just looking for some of the best trophy areas and I will research them one I find the right area. From most of the outfitters that I've talked to they all advise to start building points.
Thanks again!
Now if you plan on going guided I would reccomend Jim Freeburn's operation in Wyoming
For Colorado Scott Limmer may be the best outfitter in the state when it comes to consistently taking huge mule deer bucks,
