Muley sheds on repo skull

I just put these sheds on a mountain mikes repo skull, and thought that I would share some photos.

Looks great.. I was wondering.. Whats the best way to drill the angle in the horns?

 I just hold the horns where they should go on the skull cap. I then take the drill bit and drill threw the hole in the skull cap till its deep enough for the screw. then just insert the screw. One thing I want to point out is to make sure you use a small enough drill bit, To make sure that the screw bites into the antler real tight. The tighter the better. It will keep the antlers from rolling on their bases. It also helps to have someone hold the skull cap to the antler while you do the drilling. If your going to buy a repo skull i recomend buying from cabellas.(I purchesed 4 total from them, all one at atime. The first came and it did not have the screws with it. I called and they said to send it back and they would send me another with the screws, and a $20 gift certificate. I did and they sent me one that had the screws. I used the gift certificate on another repo skull....and no screws again they told me to do the same thing and another $20 gift certificate. It happened on all 4 skulls. I don't know how they make money doing that but I'm not complaining. ) Just thought that I would let ya know thats the cheapest priced skulls I have found.

Cool, that looks pretty nice.

I would like to get a few of these repo skulls for some of my larger sets. How much do they cost?

 they run around $40, but after they mess up and send you a $20 gift certificate it's only $20 :thumb

I forgot that mountain mikes has a new line of dipped skulls now...they have wood grain, and camo....I personaly like the wood grain but I haven't got one yet.
