My 1st 3-D Archery Shoot

Wanted to share a few photos from my 1st 3-D Archery Shoot. Only shot the afternoon round but had blast. Was pretty nervous being my first time out, but Kenny the Club President and his wife 'showed me the ropes' and kept me pretty calm.

Out of the 30 targets, I didn't miss any...but sent a few home with some nasty wounds. :)

Thanks to Kenny, Michelle, Heidi and RedRockBowmen.com

All you Southern Utah boys/girls need to come join this club and check it out. I had a great time and would definitely do it again.

Cheers,

Brett

Looks like a great time. Datus archery does a few 3D's about two miles from my house. I've always thought it would be cool to shoot a round but want to update my archery equipment before I try.

Thanks for sharing.

Glad you had a good time Brett.......they are a blast....and somewhat addicting. Throughout the year out here, there's a 3D tournament somewhere within 1.5 hours away.

Going to a two-day tournament next weekend on the AZ / CA border. 60 targets with some money teams available.......fun times for sure.

It was a good time for sure Brett!!

There is another one this weekend we are doing for the local SFW chapter.

It will be a good time as well!

Wow, I've never seen a 3D shoot that had you shoot out of a blind like that. I can't imagine letting a ton of people shoot out of a blind that costs as much as that one, with a very high likelihood that someone (or multiple someones) will put an arrow through the canvas before it's over! Glad you had fun. They are pretty enjoyable.
