Heres my story , me and a friend got northern utah tags, it was the first year we hunted together, he decided he was going to take the first buck he seen and he got a little two point on the second day so he wanted to get back and help me with mine. We looked long and hard for the rest of the hunt with nothing too big just small twos and threes. Last day of the hunt we hunted long and hard but just didnt see much we decided to start heading home and just watch the side of the road on the way back, I just had a feeling I might get lucky, we were going through an area we had hunted earlier in the hunt ,I was driving and trying to watch the passenger side because that was our boundary, It was about 30 min till dark and I was begining to wonder if I this year was going to be the first year I didnt bag a buck, I was trying to drive and watch the opposite side and I spotted something, I asked my friend if he seen that deer he said no so I almost didnt back up but I did and got out to the side of the road with my gun just in case It was a buck< I pulled my gun up and looked through the scope and couldnt believe what I was looking at ,My heart started pounding, the excitment was overwhelming so I tried to hurry so the excitement didnt get to me ,all I could see was His head and neck but I had to give it a shot, so I did I eased the trigger, when I looked up I couldnt see anything, either did my friend ,I was a little worried. I never ran up a mountain so fast in my life When I got to where I thought he was I couldnt see him at first Then I spotted him ,I didnt realize how big he was at first but When I picked his head up I was so excited, Sht him right behind the ear LUCKY I think everyone in the canyon heard me by the time we got him to the road it was just about dark. That was one of the most memorable hunts! WE HAVE HUNTED TOGETHER EVER SINCE AND GOT SOME REALLY NICE BUCKS,GREAT MEMORIES. 30 INCH 3/3

As long as thats a legal method of hunting in Northern Utah and your happy, then I say Great Job.
Around here they call that Road Hunting and if caught, it will get ya a heafty fine, loss of hunig license for a few years and then they confiscate your truck and your rifle cause you used them in the commission of a crime.
Kind funny how one method of hunting is perfictly fine in one region and against the law in others. Kind like hunting deer with dogs. Perfectly acceptable in the South, but Taboo North of the Mason Dixon line!!!
