My 2003 buck..

Nice Long forks! Very pretty typical buck. Way to go! any idea on the score?

Thanks.. I don`t think that I have ever seen a better 3 point. The picture doesn`t show it well but on the right eye gaurd he has a couple 3-4 inch kickers. A friend of mine rough scored and came up with 183. He is 31 1\4 outside spread. Score doesn`t matter that much to me though, I just think that he has a gnarley looking unique rack. I hunted so hard for this buck, everyday up and down a 1200 foot slope, (twice) sitting on the property fence waiting for him to come down or go back from the field I was hunting over. I got him on the last day in the morning as he was returning. The elevation were I took him was 3876 and the pickup was parked at 2606 (according to my gps anyway) all in less than a mile. This guy had bighorn sheep for cousins. His rear leg got busted up on the drag out, but I somehow maneged not to crack his horns off. I seen this buck the day before the hunt and then after all the shooting he stopped coming in. It took three days before I seen him again, at 400 yards I wasn`t willing to risk wounding him. I seen him a couple more times, but wasn`t able to get a shot. The weather played a huge role in how active he and other bucks were. Colder cloudier weather pulled deer out way earlier. Hey great job, good looking rack. What part of oregon are you from I am up here in Pendleton

I live in the valley in St. Paul. I come over your way quite often to hunt ducks and pheasants. I was just there Wednesday to hunt the Umatilla refuge. The birds aren`t in yet. I got this buck in the east bigs unit. Where do you hunt? My elk hunt is a 6 week long hier tag on the border of Idaho in the beulah unit.

I hunt elk in the Heppner unit, and deer in the columbia basin unit my Dad just got his bull last weekend 5x5
