my 2006 Colorado Mule deer (pics)

Well this is my buck from Colorado this year. His is definetly not the biggest buck I saw but I am happy with him. He has good fronts and mass but he is weak in the back end. He gross scored 147-148". I was a little disappointed that I didn't hold out longer because it is a long season but I needed to get back to Utah to get some work done and hang out with my family before I head to Wyoming for antelope this friday

Thanks everybody! The more I look at him the happier I am with my decision. He still isn't the biggest one I saw but that leaves me something to look forward to next year, if I can get the tag again

Believe it or not the taxidermist called and said he was already done with this buck and I went and got it. He did an unbelievable job. This deer had a great cape and it looks SO GOOD. I can't wait for my new house to get done so I have somewhere to hang my heads. I will have to post a picture of the mount. The guy who did it was Kelly Memot in P.G. Utah

Nice buck, I just got back from CO last month, didnt hunt but visited my in-laws there near Grand Junction. I was very impressed with all of the deer I saw and plan to put in for the hunt there next year. I was a little disappointed that it was not over-the-counter for archery, as I was there during the season (with my bow).
