My first black wolf

This year me and my dad were out bear hunting when we ran into a pack of wolves.I got 2 of them this black wolf and a grey wolf.

What are the hunting laws for wolves up there anyway??

Were i was hunting in region 7b british columbia the season never closes under the elevation of 1100m.After i posted the picture i learnt how to make the picture bigger.(lol)

Thanks.The black wolf we estimated at about 130 roughly and the grey was bigger so between that and 140 maybe.We never weighed them.You are aloud three wolves in that region.

The only thing i have heard of is getting them taxidermied, I will probably get mine made into a rug.

ran into five of them last year while out bow hunting for Elk,kind of spooky when all you have is a bow and your wife is looking to go the other way in a hurry.pack a gun whith us every time we go to the woods know :2 :2 :2

Thanks, I am going back up North in a couple days and hope to see some more of them.They have brought our moose population down heavy up in the area we are in so it never hurts to help the moose out.

Wow what a magnificent animal! I hope to have the chance to hunt wolves someday... harvesting an animal like that would be a lifetime accomplishment for me!
