My First Bull

Hey guys heres the first bull ive ever harvested. We spotted the 3 days before the hunt and could only locate a few bulls, and hardly any elk. So we decided one night just about an hour before dark to go try n spot some mountains close to the highway and as luck would have it we would find 8 bulls. I watched this bull opening morning and took video of it but couldnt decide if id take him or not. Well just before the afternoon hunt we went back to the cabin and watched the footage and decided id shoot him on the last day. Then i remembered what many of my family and friends have told me in the past " If youd shoot it on the last day you may as well shoot him on the first." So i decided to give it a try and go after him we located the elk about an hour an a half before dark and started up after him. There was a small opening on the edge of some pines i got in position and began to watch the cows file out one by one. As it got closer to dark i started to wonder if the bull had left the area, just then i seen some movement and pulled up my scope to find him walking out to the opening. I took the first shot at just over 200 yards and the bull just stood there as if i never shot, i eventually shot 6 more times before he collapsed. When we cleaned him out we counted 6 bullet holes in the chest n stomach. The liver was blown almost in half, a chunk of lunk was blown off, and the heart had one bullet in the top of it which i think is the one that took him down, the other three holes were near the stomach. All in all it was a fun hunt and challenging, i realize hes not a giant but i couldnt be happier, I cant wait to draw another tag! Heres some pics of him.

I'm loving the whale tails on that critter 10sign:

Though, I'm just a bit curious as to what firearm you were shooting that had 6 rounds in the magazine?
